Industrial Painting and Coating
Application of industrial primers, paint and epoxy coating to confined space and high elevation assets, process lines, building infrastructure and other facility resources.  Preparation includes media blasting and hydro blasting to remove paint, scaling and rust, including lead based paint.
    Fuel Terminal - South-West
  • As part of ongoing maintenance activities at this active fuel terminal and blending facility with more than 40 fuel storage tanks reaching one million gallons in capacity, VIASANT crews perform industrial cleaning and painting activities to improve production efficiency and product quality.
  • Decontamination activities include 20k psi high pressure water blasting methods to remove residual product, impurities, rust and scaling in fuel tanks and process equipment.
  • Proper confined space entry procedures implemented, including carbon filtration and chemical additive processes to de-gas applicable tanks, addressing raised levels of flammable vapors and LEL to ensure safe entry into tanks.
  • Heat exchangers are high pressure cleaned to remove carbon build up on interior and exterior surfaces of tubing bundles.
  • Hydro-blasting and media blasting of interior and exterior surfaces of tanks is used to remove existing paint and rust in preparation for epoxy application.
  • A three-layer, two-part epoxy coating is applied to the interior and exterior surfaces of tanks and catwalks and to complete the process.
