Established proper containment and shielding around the immediate work area in order to contain and collect all decontamination waste products.
Chemical treatment of Chrome impacted areas to loosen heavy accumulation. A specialty product was applied to the surfaces of the facility to break up the contaminants and help leach the contaminant products from porous surfaces.
Following the Chemical treatment soak, High Pressure Hot water washed the interior surfaces ceilings, walls, floor grates, flooring, equipment, piping and structures to remove the Chrome and Chrome Plating by-products.
Final rinse of the entire facility to ensure complete removal of any residual chemical cleaning products or material, liquids and sludge.
After decontamination procedures, the contained and collected waste products were transported and properly disposed.
